The Police did not like Dudley Law because he was connected to the people, to them he was too powerful. The emerging Black middle class standard is education without any effort to connect to the general population in the commuinty. One cannot be strong in isolation, you used up energy. The leaders don’t have voice and power because they isolated themselves from the people.
Leave your degree at home sometime and go and champion some moral cause, comes what may so you may received some blessing.
You advance, and educated but you don’t go and help organized and buld things in your community tells the next group lots about you. As a result Anthropology is a tool that can easily used to predict and anticipate your next move
